This is a short description of the  style file {\tt fbssuppl.sty}
that has been designed to generate a standard form for {\it Few-Body Systems 
Supplementum}. It relies on the standard {\tt article.sty} and
{\tt art10.sty} of \LaTeX\ \cite{latex}, a macro package based on the 
well-known type-setting program \TeX\ \cite{tex}, but a lot of new 
features have been included.

This paper describes how the style {\tt fbssuppl.sty} should be used
by the author(s) so that further editoral  efforts are minimized. 
If you are already familiar with \LaTeX\ you can use most features 
of your preferred texts without changes of the input. The 
output, however, may look quite different.

\section{Introduction}

The style {\tt fbssuppl.sty} is designed for coding contributions to  
{\em Few-Body Systems Supplementum} with \LaTeX\ (Version 2.09).
The text provided along with this style will produce the desired layout.
Authors are requested to adhere strictly to these instructions. {\em
The style file must not be changed!}

The text output area will be 120 $\times$ 200\,mm including
page numbers.

Please refrain from using any \LaTeX{} or \TeX{} commands
that affect the layout or formatting of your document (i.e., commands
like \verb|\textheight|, \verb|\vspace|, \verb|\hoffset| etc.).
There may, nevertheless, be exceptional cases when some of them can
be applied without problems.

\section{Style Parameters}
\label{secstyle}

You have to use this style as main style, i.e., in the form
\verb+\documentstyle+ \verb+{fbssuppl}+. 

The style is designed only for {\tt 10pt}, the output
is always {\tt twoside} and {\tt  onecolumn}, therefore  some options of 
the standard article style are obsolete.

As  options can be used:  {\tt fbsedit} for 
additional editor commands and {\tt amssymb} for the inclusion of
\AMSTeX\ \cite{amstex} fonts and symbols or {\tt amsfonts} just for the 
fonts (``Fraktur'' and ``Blackboard Bold''). If you do not have the new font 
selection scheme NFSS (which is the default scheme for \AMSTeX), the main 
style {\tt fbssuppl} will supply definitions for the old font selection
scheme OFSS. In any case you can employ these options only with already
installed \AmS\ fonts.

If you want to include {\sc PostScript} pictures you may also include 
{\tt psfig} as an option and use the commands defined in this package.

Finally there are three additional options with regard to numbering styles.

\begin{enumerate}
\item Equations will be numbered consecutively throughout the whole 
document without any resetting in new sections. 
To change this setting use the option \verb+\secnumeq+. Then the counter 
will be set to zero in each new section and the number style will include
the section number, e.g., (1.3). 

{\em Exception:} In the appendices the numbering includes the appendix number
(A, B, C,\dots) and will be reset to 0 in each section (e.g., (A.1), 
(B.3),\dots). 
You {\em cannot} change the definitions for the appendices!
\item Also numbering of tables and figures is default without section
reference. If you have lots of floats in each section you can switch
to the other numbering style with \verb+\secnumfig+ or
\verb+\secnumtab+, respectively. 

In the  appendices, like for equation numbering, 
the notation for numbers of tables and figures is {\em with} section 
reference, e.g., Table A.1., Fig. B.2., etc.

Be sure that you employ only allowed options, otherwise definition of 
dimensions in different styles may cause conflicts. You may use as many 
options you need
(exception: both {\tt amsfonts} and {\tt amssymb} cannot be selected).

loads all \AMSTeX\ definitions, allows inclusion of {\sc PostScript} 
figures, and numbers equations after sections\footnote{See under 1.

\section{The Title Page}
